BETHSAIDA CHAPEL CONVERSION (B&B)

Commenced in part during 2010, this exciting project involves the conversion of the former Vestry into a domestic dwelling and the subsequent conversion and renovation of the Chapel into first floor dwelling with large bespoke 4* B&B on the ground floor.

The proposal was to retain the existing character of the buildings. Extensive renovation to the internal and external elements, from new floors, renovated stained glass windows, new render, bat mitigation, new floors.

The chapel conversion was more drastic. The brief and proposal was to retain the existing pulpit and beautiful internal features, but juxtapose a new first floor (for the owners to live in), and build the new commercial 4* graded B&B and new floor around these features.

Careful consideration was given to framing these features with internal glazing placement, the large atrium features around the original pulpit and leads to a raised dining area and bridge link to the raised rear garden.

New spinkler systems, heat recovery and cctv has been installed.

Due for completion Feb 2015.
