Penfeidr Uchaf Newport

Penfeidr Uchaf Newport, this project has just been awarded full Planning Consent (November 2014) for our Clients Mr & Mrs Edmund s, who run the Natural Healthcare Centre in Newport.

This project will form their new family home on the foothills of Carningli, overlooking the bay of Newport.

The scheme is to preserve and enhance the existing cottage, albeit adding a large array of extensions to the side and rear of the cottage. These extended areas will be modern and contemporary, with large windows to frame and capture the wonderful views.

The larger kitchen and dining room 'pod' built on the upper raised platform of the site is linked to the cottage by a glazed and louvred walkway, and then vertically up a staircase link, exiting into the open plan, light and stunning space.

The additional living space and bedrooms are created to the rear of the cottage, their size and presence is screened by the existing cottage.

Due for construction in early 2015, an exciting project.
